Provides independent oversight of the City's annual auditing and financial reporting operations, performing a role comparable to that of a publicly-held corporation's independent audit committee. Comprised of seven members: four independent members, two nominated by the Mayor, and two nominated by the City Comptroller, as well as the Mayor, the Comptroller, and the Public Advocate.
