The Deputy Mayor for Operations develops policy on operational and infrastructure related agencies. The office oversees the Chief Climate Officer, the Mayor’s Office of Climate and Environmental Justice, the Office of Environmental Remediation, the Office of Environmental Coordination, the Office of Urban Agriculture, the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Sanitation, the Department of Transportation, the Department of Parks and Recreation, the Office of Sports, Wellness & Recreation, the Department of Design and Construction, the Department of Buildings, the Taxi & Limousine Commission, and the Office of Capital Project Development.
