Investigation (DOI)
Description
The New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) is the City's Inspector General, with independent oversight of City government, including each mayoral agency, City vendors, and an array of boards and commissions. Our investigations may involve any agency, officer, elected official or employee of the City, as well as those who do business with or receive benefits from the City. We are one of the oldest law enforcement agencies in the country and an international leader in the effort to combat corruption in public institutions. |
