Provides actuarial services and information for the City's five actuarially-funded retirement systems, certain other pension funds and other post-employment benefit funds to various City agencies, other employers, labor organizations, legislative bodies and related entities. These services include preparation of annual actuarial valuations of assets and liabilities, computation of employer contributions and members' benefits, determination of suitability of actuarial assumptions and methods, including recommendations for change when appropriate, preparation of accounting and financial planning information and information in support of regulatory filings, and estimation of financial impacts of benefit changes.
