NYC Her Future (NHF) was created to address the disparities faced by young people of color, with an emphasize on young women and girls between the ages of 14 – 24, in education, employment, justice, health, and safety. NYC Her Future’s mission is to holistically develop programs, partnerships and champion that support the success of young women and girls of color throughout New York City. NYC Her Future is situated NYC Mayor’s Office of Equity & Racial Justice reporting to NYC Chief Equity Officer and Commissioner Sideya Sherman. The office is the companion entity to the NYC Young Men's Initiative and together they seek to serve all New York City youth and young adults.
