The Office for Nonprofit Services is dedicated to supporting thriving communities and ensuring the delivery of essential services to New Yorkers by amplifying the work of nonprofit organizations. The Office will serve as a liaison between City agencies, the Mayor’s Office of Contracting Services, and nonprofit service providers to ensure the City’s accountability to its nonprofit partners; Lead the development and delivery of a new capacity building program that engages nonprofits seeking to partner with the City, especially smaller BIPOC-led organizations. The Office will serve as the primary hub for communicating with the sector, both gathering the perspectives and concerns of the sector and issuing communications to the sector around key updates affecting them.
