The Director of the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants (MOPT) will work closely with the Deputy Mayor for Housing & Planning to better support tenants in partnership with other relevant agencies and offices across the entire city. This person will lead the Mayor’s Office to Protect Tenants, created to promote and advance tenant protections and resources; drive policies in response to tenant-related issues; review relevant legislation, studies, and reports; foster strong relationships with stakeholders and agencies; and develop and implement new strategies to support tenants.
